A Bad Dream...

I open my eyes,
falling in a dark void,
filled with nothingness.
As far as the eyes go,
all there is nothingness.
Feeling of despair,
creeps over me.
As hope leaves my heart.
There seems to be no stopping it,
The void goes on forever
and I am trapped in it.
I try to clung on to my memories,
to my instinct to survive.
But I can't,
moreover I don't want to.
I am in despair.

Then I hit the ground,
and hope returns to me.
I open my eyes again,
this time staring
at the ceiling of my room.
And wiping of the sweat,
Knowing it was just a bad dream.

Change

There is only one constant...change

Change, it is all around us. Change is what keeps us going on. Sometimes intentional, sometimes totally uncontrolled. Sometimes change is exactly what you need at that moment whereas sometimes that change is the worst thing for you at that moment.
But one thing is constant with change, it changes your lives. Generally for the better. Change is meant to test us, to make us stronger, to help us survive. And in the process of changing us it helps us to find a hidden talent we never knew existed within us. Change forces us to move out of our comfort zone, it makes us try new things, in fact it dares us to do new things, and that experience, that crazy adventure is something we wouldn't have ever done, had fate not thrown it upon us. And it is during this adventure that we find the best of ourselves.
Change is a necessary evil...

Social Animals

Humans are social animals.

We are told so since our childhood, but the current society makes the statement seem like a joke. We humans who are suppose to be civilized and have brotherhood among us are becoming quite the opposite.
The previous few years shows us how far human have come from being the most civilized creature to a cannibal. We destroy our own kin. We murder people for something as insignificant as a little amount of money.

The lust in man has grown so much that the woman whom our ancestors respected like goddesses are now treated like a piece of meat.

We have buried humanity deep inside us.Even though we don't participate in these disgusting crime we can't care less. We read news like these with morning coffee and they have no effect on us.

And once in a while when our humanity manages to reach the surface, what do we do?
We light candles in the memory of the victim. Like that's going to get rid of the problem. We act like the pigeon who closes its eyes and hopes the cat will not see it.

Lighting candles is not going to help us, change is going to help us.

We need to change the way people think, there mentality.
We need to change the way the police works.
And most importantly...

We need to change.
We need to stop suffering in silence.
We need to raise a voice.

Mother Nature....

Nature is what makes it possible for us to exist yet we are its biggest enemies. The Nature gives us all of its gifts without asking anything in return. Yet we continue to destroy it, destroy its creatures. Something can only tolerate to a limit so it lashes out in forms of tornados, earthquake etc. But these lash outs aren’t filled with anger but instead with disappointment. Disappointment because its own children are hell bent on destroying it. And despite of all this, like a true mother nature isn't worried about its survival but ours. For if there will be no nature, there will be no us.

Hope...

Hope, the emotion that runs the world, the emotion that helps us rise up when everything seems to go down.
When the pandora box was opened, world was leashed with sad, grief, death but in the bottom of the box there was hope. Hope is the weapon we were given to battle all the evil that was unleashed in the world. No matter how small, no matter how fragile hope is the emotion that keeps us going.
When everyone leaves us, hope stays with us, trailling along the tough times. It suffers, gets tattered but never leaves as long as we don't want it to.
Hope is what runs the world...
