Cowards live on

“Cowards die a million deaths
The brave meet death only once”
But
Cowards live on
And the brave die young
The wars over
The martyr is home.
Not on his legs but...

There is always a candle

Hello fellow readers and writers, its been a long time. Well now I could go around giving excuses but frankly I have been having a writers block, doubting my self worth, my writing, am I good enough? Blah blah blah. You know writers stuff. But now since that you are here reading this, I think it is worthwhile just to keep continuing writing.

We have been recently facing a lot power cuts in my town and one day it so happened our back up ran out. So we all moved to the terrace. I went up there and as it is my favorite pass time I looked up to the sky, watching the night sky in all its glory. But it was a new moon ,it was cloudy and the stars werent there. It was utter darkness and none of the house had lights on.

I looked around, breathing just the cold wind with no light in sight to guide my vision when I caught the glimpse of light just light. It was coming from a tiny window, from the house opposite our appartments. The candle was burning with a flame diminished by the distance. In a normal night it would have been insignificant, even the stars could have outshone it, but not today. Today in this utter darkness that little candle had light up the night.

And then I realized that in one way or the other, there is always a candle.

The Fault in Our Stars Review (Spoilers)

The Fault in Our Stars.jpgIt is one of the most loved book of the year, leaving many crying (No, I didn't but others did, I just had something in my eye). I for once absolutely loved it even though I usually don’t read the genre but this book made me a John Green fan and ending up reading his other works. What I loved was how this book played with emotions starting off at sad distant note then taking it on a happy ride till we reach the very top when Hazel realizes her dreams of meeting her favorite author with an added bonus of being with the person she loves, Gus. Life is perfect.
Then from this point John Green doesn't sends us down a depressing ride rather he just throws us down the pit of grief at the bottom of which we are greeted by death devastating both the reader and Hazel.
In the end I will like to pay my respect to John Green for writing such an amazing book, and for killing my favorite character.

Contempt Of Election

Have you ever seen kids fighting and teasing each other? Of course you have and in case you have avoided all social contact in the entirety of your life let me tell you how it generally goes. They call each other names and accuse each other and point out their faults. These fights can sometimes even end up in the breaking of years of friendship.
The state of our current electoral campaigns is somewhat like kids fighting. The parties keep on taunting each other and they have actually started to call each other names.
They keep on accusing each other of how incompetent the other is of ruling the nation and how they would rule it better. What they don't say is what they have done? What they promised and promise in the future?
Instead of talking about how to work for the welfare of the nation they are busy comparing themselves with others and proving how other parties are more corrupt.
How do you think if such politicians are to rule our country? I think this childish feud between the parties should end and that they should focus more on their pros rather than other parties cons for the benefit of the nation.
